We've Been Awarded funding by the National Lottery Community

We have some more wonderful news to share. NILU has been awarded £20,000 from the National Lottery Community Fund to support our Parents Rest, Relax & Restore programme and we are so grateful.

What is Rest, Relax & Restore?

Parenting a neurodivergent child is a profound, rewarding and often exhausting journey. The support systems that exist for parents are rarely designed with you in mind and finding time to simply breathe, let alone rest, can feel impossible.

Rest, Relax & Restore is a gentle, held space created just for you. A chance to float in the warm geothermal waters of Jubilee Pool in Penzance, in the company of other parents who truly understand. No pressure. No agenda. Just kind company, warm water, and an hour that belongs entirely to you.

Why this matters -

When parents are supported, children feel it. When caregivers have space to restore themselves, the whole family benefits. This funding means we can keep these sessions accessible to every family who needs them, whatever their financial circumstances, through our subsidised sliding scale.
